Bright Minds Academy is a childcare, preschool, and Spanish learning center in Amarillo, Texas for infants to 5-year-olds. With individualized attention, a nurturing environment and extracurricular activities, we provide everything your child needs to excel in their early-childhood education.
Bright Minds Academy is locally owned and operated by Joanna Tejeda, a Texas Certified Teacher with 10 years of experience in the Amarillo School District.
Bright Minds Academy was opened in 2014 after Joanna was in search for a quality Pre-Kindergarten program for her own 4-year-old. After years of recognizing the need for Amarillo and Canyon residents to have an alternative to daycare before sending their child to Kindergarten, she took the leap to provide a safe and great place for children to learn.
Bright Minds Academy was established with the vision of creating a bilingual preschool program for the Amarillo area that teaches children to their full potential and prepares them for Kindergarten by following the Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills.
Here you will find that children are welcomed and encouraged to explore their creativity. Not only will they begin to learn the Spanish language, but the activities will be based around the State of Texas’ PreKindergarten curriculum.
Your child’s safety and happiness is at the forefront of our policies. Our center follows the Texas rules and regulations for Child Care Centers and goes above and beyond in order to make our preschool the safest environment possible.
Our main entrance door is self locking and has a key entry where only the parents and those designated to pick up children are given the access key.
